About the Journal

JETMUA – Journal of Emerging Technologies and Multidisciplinary Applications is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access scholarly journal dedicated to the publication and dissemination of high-quality research on emerging technologies and their multidisciplinary applications.

JETMUA provides an interdisciplinary platform for researchers, academics, professionals, and practitioners to communicate original scientific and technological contributions that advance knowledge, address contemporary challenges, and explore the development, implementation, evaluation, and application of emerging technologies in real-world contexts.

The journal welcomes theoretical, empirical, methodological, computational, and applied research in areas including artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science, computational intelligence, human–computer interaction, software engineering, information systems, cybersecurity, Internet of Things, immersive technologies, robotics, intelligent automation, digital transformation, and other emerging digital technologies.

Particular emphasis is placed on multidisciplinary research connecting technological innovation with fields such as education, health, engineering, business and management, environmental sustainability, and the social sciences. JETMUA also encourages research addressing the ethical, social, organizational, and human implications of emerging technologies.

The journal is committed to scientific rigor, research integrity, methodological transparency, responsible innovation, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Peer Review

Manuscripts submitted to JETMUA undergo an initial editorial assessment to determine their relevance to the journal's scope, scientific quality, and compliance with editorial requirements. Manuscripts considered suitable for further evaluation are subject to independent peer review before an editorial decision is made.

JETMUA adopts a double-anonymous peer-review process, in which the identities of authors and reviewers are concealed from each other. Editorial decisions are based on scientific quality, originality, methodological rigor, relevance, and contribution to knowledge.

Open Access

JETMUA is an open-access journal. Published articles are freely available online without subscription or access barriers, supporting the dissemination and accessibility of scientific knowledge to researchers, professionals, institutions, and the wider public.

Article Processing Charges (APCs)

JETMUA does not currently charge Article Processing Charges (APCs), submission fees, or publication fees. Authors may submit manuscripts and publish accepted articles without charge.

As the journal develops and its editorial, technological, preservation, indexing, and publishing infrastructure expands, JETMUA may introduce publication charges in the future to support the sustainability of its open-access publishing model.

Any future introduction or modification of publication charges will be clearly communicated on the journal's website. Publication charges, if introduced, will not influence peer review, editorial decisions, or manuscript acceptance.

Publication Frequency

JETMUA follows an annual publication schedule, with one issue published each year. Articles are published within the corresponding annual volume and issue according to the journal's editorial and production schedule.
